Raquel draws on more than 25 years of experience as a photographer and a human/animal rights activist to produce beautiful and meaningful imagery. Graduating with honors from NYU, she designed a number of campaigns for children’s rights, migrants’ rights, indigenous rights, gender violence, global warming, anti-personnel landmines…

She won a contest on “Art and Sexual Violence”, giving her the opportunity to run a workshop on photography as a means to channel trauma. She also was granted a distinction in Documentary Photography by City and Guilds of London Institute, England.
